The Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam released 16 days ago at the China box office. After a rather lacklustre start the business of the film in China did not see much of an increase. Unlike previous Bollywood releases in this market, Drishyam has been facing an uphill task at the box office.
Now on Day 16 Drishyam has managed to draw in a further USD 1,30,000 [Rs. 99.66 lakhs] more taking its total collections at the China box office to USD 2.15 million [Rs. 16.45 cr.]. Unlike previous releases Drishyam has been facing a tough time in China due to sections of the market being under lockdown due to the resurgence of the Covid-19 virus.
Going forward, the business of the film at the China box office is not really expected to see much growth. Trade predictions state that the business of Drishyam will continue to see collections trickling in but will not see much of an increase.
