Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's Brahmastra is ROCK STEADY on its second Monday as the film has recorded a sub-50 percent drop as compared to the second Friday. According to early estimates, Brahmastra collected in the range of Rs. 4.65 to 5.15 crores on Monday, taking the 11-day total to Rs. 213 crores. The movie will close its second week with all India collections in the North of Rs. 225 crores, laying the base to grow again in the third weekend.
The film is best faring at the 3D-equipped centers, whereas the 2D version is just giving some support to boast the collections. IMAX is also doing well, and the occupancy too is pretty good as a section of the audience is now out to view the film on the biggest screen at reduced rates. Brahmastra is already the second highest grossing film of Hindi cinema in the pandemic times by surpassing the likes of Sooryavanshi and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and it should be targeting the lifetime biz of The Kashmir Files at the end of its run.
Brahmastra is the much-needed HIT for the Hindi Film Industry as the lifetime collections will be around the Rs. 250 crore mark. As mentioned previously, Brahmastra is faring like a marvel film, wherein the business is dropping on the weekdays but recording huge jumps on the weekend.
With an excellent trend in 2nd weekend, Brahamstra will see another spike in collections over the third weekend due to lack of competition but will lose out on showcasing from the fourth weekend due to the release of Vikram Vedha.
