An adaptation of Anurag Pathak’s eponymous novel, 12th Fail ‘s official synopsis reads, “An authentic portrayal of UPSC students' lives and struggles. It's a saga of grit, integrity, and determination reflecting the truth of a million Indians.”
12th Fail stars Vikrant Massey in the lead. According to the makers, it's the first film to be shot in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar, the hub of UPSC preparations in the national capital. The film was also shot in Chambal, Agra, Mussoorie and Mumbai. The film will feature real-life students.
