The much-awaited Shah Rukh Khan film Jawan hit the theatres on Thursday. The film, directed by Atlee, has music composed by Anirudh Rvichander, and it marked their first collaboration and their debut in their respective fields in Bollywood. Following the film's first show, Anirudh pens a note thanking the audience for the broad positive reception.
Taking to his X handle (formerly Twitter), Anirudh wrote, " From Alwarpet to Andheri. Thank you all for your love towards the movie and the music. Thank you, King SRK, for everything."
Jawan has Nayanthara playing the female lead, and Deepika Padukone appears in a cameo role.
The film also boasts an ensemble cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, and Yogi Babu. Produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner, the film features cinematography by GK Vishnu and editing by Ruben. The film hit the theatres in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
