We had earlier reported that a new series titled Bambai Meri Jaan starring actors Kay Kay Menon, and Avinash Tiwary, among others, will be premiering on Prime Video on September 14. On Monday, the streaming platform released the trailer for the upcoming series.
The trailer shows Avinash as Dara Kadri, a young man rising as a don in Mumbai, back when it was called Bambai. He is seen to be split between his father's (Kay Kay Menon) law enforcement legacy and his entry into the heart of organised crime in the city. The series seems to be a classic good vs. evil setup.
Also featuring Kritika Kamra, Nivedita Bhattacharya and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles, Bambai Meri Jaan is a crime drama with 10 episodes. Ritesh Sidhwani, Kassin Jagmagia, and Farhan Akhtar serve as executive producers, while it is created by Rensil D'Silva and Shujaat Saudagar.
The series is produced by Excel Media and Entertainment’s Ritesh Sidhwani, Kassim Jagmagia and Farhan Akhtar.
