After the bhangra anthem ‘Jalsa 2.0’ and the soulful track ‘Jeeyenge’, a love-song titled ‘Keemti’ from the film Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue was released by the makers recently.
The song has been composed and sung by Vishal Mishra, with lyrics by Kaushal Kishore.
The music video portrays the romantic track between Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra’s characters in the film. They are seen somberly walking and crooning the song amidst picturesque green fields.
The film also marks the debut of Jackky Bhagnani's Jjust Music in the original soundtrack arena.
Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Mission Raniganj is based on the life of engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who, in 1989, saved the lives of 65 miners stuck in Mahabir colliery in West Bengal's Raniganj. Gill devised a special steel capsule using which the miners were rescued. He was awarded the Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak for his bravery by the then President of India, Ramaswamy Venkataraman, in 1991.
Apart from Akshay and Parineeti, the film also stars Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Dibyendu Bhattacharya Mukesh Bhatt, Akshay Verma, Ishtiyak Khan, Dinesh Lamba and Virendra Saxena.
The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor and is slated to release on October 6.
