Tiger Shroff-headliner Ganapath: A Hero is Born had a disappointing first two days at the box office. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the film opened on Friday with Rs 2.5 crore and the collection fell to Rs 2.25 crore the next day, bringing the total to a dismal Rs 4.75 crore.
The film had an overall 10.19 per cent occupancy in the Hindi-speaking market. While night shows saw a poor 11.97 percent occupancy, the rest of the day was even worse.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, Ganapath also stars Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan. Our review of the film read: “Ganapath’s VFX looks like it missed patchwork. The destroyed buildings and the arid world look so plastic, I was afraid that the green screen behind Tiger might topple while he is in the middle of mouthing a dialogue. There are drones and planes which look like they have been shaped out of cardboard. The ring fights reminded me of arcade games. The only thing futuristic about the film is probably ChatGPT’s inputs on the script.”

Ganapath clashed with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo which minted over Rs 140 crore on its opening day. As per reports, the Vijay-starrer’s worldwide collection has already surpassed the Rs 200-crore mark.
