Shah Rukh Khan turned 58 on Thursday and on his birthday eve, thousands thronged to his residence Mannat in Mumbai’s Bandra to wish the superstar. In videos going viral online, SRK is seen in a black tshirt, green camouflage pants, wearing a cap and shades, waving at the fans and doing his signature wide-arm pose. He was also seen telling people—via actions—to go home and sleep since it is late and that he will meet them the next day.
SRK also took to X (formerly Twitter) and hinted that he might be dropping his upcoming film Dunki’s teaser during the day, “It’s unbelievable that so many of u come & wish me late at night. I am but a mere actor. Nothing makes me happier, than, the fact that I can entertain u a bit. I live in a dream of your love. Thank u for allowing me to entertain you all. C u in the morning…on the screen & off it.”
On the occasion, Netflix has also released an extended, un-cut version of Shah Rukh’s Jawan on their platform.
SRK will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki along with Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu.
