The trailer of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's Fighter will be out on January 15, on the occasion of Sankranti festival and just ten days ahead of the release, confirmed the makers.
Sharing a poster of all the characters in the film, the lead cast wrote on their social media handles, "Target Locked and Loaded! Fighter Trailer on 15th January, 12:00 PM IST."
Apart from Hrithik, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi.
While Hrithik plays Leader Shamsher Pathania aka 'Patty', Deepika essays Leader Minal Rathore aka 'Minni', Anil Kapoor is Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka 'Rocky,' Karan Singh Grover is leader Sartaj 'Taj' Gill and Akshay Oberoi is leader Basheer Khan aka 'Bash'.
The teaser of the film was released earlier this month. It starts with the lines, "To find us? You must be good. To catch us? You must be fast. To beat us? You must be Joking!" And as these lines end on the screen, the engine of the fighter plane revs up to show us a stylish Patty (Hrithik Roshan), and a charming Minnu (Deepika Padukone), piloting their fighter jets with suave. With elements of drama, romance and patriotism, and a novel version of Vande Mataram, the Fighter teaser promised us that "Republic Day will never be the same again.
Directed by Siddharth Anand who also directed Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan (2023), Fighter is backed by Ajit Andhare (Viacom18 Studios), Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb, and Anku Pande. It will hit the theatres on January 25.
